I began working at Bushland ISD in 2012. I am the Assistant Superintendent over curriculum, instruction, and accountability.
I began my teaching career in 1999. I have worked at Tahoka, Midland, and Floydada High Schools. The subjects I taught were Special Education, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Math Models, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. I also coached cross country, basketball, and track. I worked at Region 16 Education Service Center, first as the Secondary Mathematics Specialist, then as the Coordinator of Curriculum and Instruction.
My husband is Kent, and we were married in 1998. I have two sons, Kort and Wren. Both of them graduated from Bushland High School. Kort is currently attending Texas Tech University, majoring in Business. Wren is attending the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, playing football and majoring in History. We have two dogs, Clara and Blue Junior. We also have three cats named Gus, Newt, and Deets.
